At Secret Dokhon, we do one thing exceptionally well: craft luxury oud sticks. Every stick is hand-rolled from carefully sourced oud, oils and resins, then rested and tested to create an authentic fragrance experience inspired by tradition and refined for today.

Every blend is mixed in small batches, rested, and tested at home before it ever reaches you.

The Ritual

How to use your 12 cm oud stick

Each Secret Dokhon stick is 12 cm and made to sit upright in a holder. Three simple steps, and the scent carries through the whole room.

    Place the stick in the holder

    Stand the 12 cm stick upright in a stable holder on a heat-safe surface, away from curtains and fabric.

    Light the tip, then let it glow

    Light the tip for a few seconds, gently blow out the flame and leave a soft ember burning.

    Let the scent settle

    One stick perfumes a room in minutes. Waft the smoke through clothes, majlis or bedroom as you like.

Oud sticks burn with a real ember and produce fragrant smoke. Please follow these guidelines every time.

Warnings

  • Never leave a burning stick unattended, and fully extinguish it before sleeping or leaving home.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets — the ember and holder stay hot after burning.
  • Keep away from curtains, cushions, paper, perfume, aerosols and any flammable material.
  • Not for anyone with asthma or breathing sensitivity, and avoid direct, prolonged smoke inhalation.

Safe handling tips

  • Always use a stable, heat-resistant holder on a hard surface — never on wood, plastic or fabric.
  • Ventilate the room: open a window or door for a few minutes so the smoke stays light and pleasant.
  • One stick is enough for an average room. Burning several at once makes the scent heavy.
  • To stop early, press the ember into the holder base or a ceramic dish — do not use water on the holder while hot.
  • Let the holder cool completely, then wipe away ash before the next use.

Always burn on a heat-resistant surface, keep away from children and pets, and never leave a burning stick unattended.
